Hiring Do's and Dont's
Hiring a DJ is not an easy task. Who do you trust?
Here a few tips that should make things a little easier.

All reputable DJ’s have some things in common. Look for
these when considering a potential DJ.

Valid binding contract:
You want something in writing that will assure you that your
DJ will be there and what will happen if they don't!

Willing to meet you face to face:
I would not even consider a DJ that won’t take the time to
come to you and discuss your event in detail so that
everything goes the way you want.  It also gives you a
chance to meet the DJ and their personality.

Discuss the pricing details:
All DJ’s are not priced the same.  Experience and their equipment quality play a big part.  You also need to discuss mileage charges, additional set up fees and package options.  Think of the bottom line after everything is added up.

Get references:
There is no better way to get solid information about a DJ
than from someone that they worked for in the past.

Know who will be the actual DJ at the event:
There are many DJ companies that have several setups
and DJ’s working for them.  Know what your paying for and
the details about the person that will be doing the work.
